This notice explains how Waypoint Media LLC handles information when you browse this website or contact Christopher “Chris” Rice about a project.

01 / Getting in touch
What you share with Chris.
The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, service of interest, and project goal. You can also share a phone number for a callback, your business or organization, project location, preferred timing, and budget. Only provide information you are comfortable sending by email; leave out passwords, payment details, and confidential customer information.
When you choose “Send inquiry,” those details pass through our website host, Vercel, and our email delivery provider, Resend, to crice@waypointmediallc.com. Your email address lets Chris reply directly, and an optional phone number lets him call about your inquiry. We use your message to discuss your project, prepare a proposal, and handle related communication. Sending an inquiry does not sign you up for a marketing list.
If you choose “Prepare an email instead,” the website creates a draft in your browser without sending its contents to Chris. “Open email draft” passes that draft to your chosen email app, and “Copy inquiry” copies it to your device’s clipboard. You decide whether to send it. Your email app or provider handles drafts and sent messages under its own practices.
02 / Handling your message
Delivery and record keeping.
Vercel hosts the website and processes form submissions. Resend delivers inquiry emails, and Chris’s email provider stores the messages in his inbox. These providers process information needed to run their services, including delivery and security records. Read the Vercel privacy notice and Resend privacy policy for more about their practices.
We keep inquiry and project correspondence as needed to respond, provide agreed services, maintain business records, and meet applicable obligations. There is no automatic deletion deadline for an inquiry. If you want to discuss a particular message or record, contact Chris using the details below.
03 / Running the website
Security and browsing data.
Visiting the site sends normal connection information, such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages, and request time, to the services that deliver it. Our hosting provider uses technical information to serve the website and protect it from abuse. The inquiry form also uses temporary security checks to limit automated or repeated submissions.
We have not added analytics scripts or advertising trackers to this website. Hosting security, authentication for private previews, and external media services may use cookies or similar technologies. Your browser settings let you manage cookies and site permissions.
04 / Films and outside services
When other platforms connect.
Some portfolio thumbnails load from YouTube’s image servers as you browse, so your browser may connect to Google before you play a film. YouTube video players load when you choose to watch and use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed mode. This mode does not prevent all information from reaching YouTube.
Embedded media and links to YouTube, social platforms, or other websites are handled under those providers’ policies. For YouTube, see Google’s privacy policy and YouTube’s embedding guidance. You can browse our service descriptions and contact Chris without playing embedded videos.
05 / Questions and requests
Talk to Chris about your information.
You can ask Chris about information you have shared, request a correction or deletion, or ask to stop follow-up about an inquiry. We may need to confirm which records are yours and retain information needed for an active project, business records, or applicable obligations.
